Before Your Carpet Installation
Having a cursory overview of our process can help make your carpet installation day a more seamless and stress-free one. Here is what you can expect prior to your carpet installation with Concept Flooring:
- Our crew will have you walked you through our installation process, answering any questions that you might have about timelines, procedures, and so on.
- You should remove all furniture from the rooms where the installation will take place.
- Ensure that children and pets will not be present on installation day.
- Complete any painting work that might need to be done.
- Discuss overall goals and expectations with the installation crew.
During Carpet Installation
- Installation day will begin with our crew addressing the subflooring. This is something that will be discussed ahead of time.
- From there, your crew will lay the underpad before also laying down the carpet.
- They will then line up the seams and stretch the carpet out.
- The final step will have them attach it to the floor.
- How long this process takes is dependant on a number of factors.
After Your Carpet Installation
- Once finished, our crew will complete a final walkthrough to assess the work.
- We suggest running a fan to remove any installation smells.
- Stay off your floors for a period of time to allow the materials to settle.
- Enjoy your new carpet floors!
